HYDRO SEEDING PROCEEDINGS

PIERREVERT and PIERREVERT MULCH ARMATO

PIERREVERT and PIERREVERT ARMED MULCH proceedings are the solutions “keys in hand” for grassing of quarries, dumps, road slopes, river and lake banks and skiing tracks. The originality of the systems consists in associating an expert work application to a scientific approach of preliminary studies.

PROCEEDING STAGES


Proceeding stages are:

• preliminary analysis of the site and phyto sociological stock

• chosen of more suitable species and mixture editing with at least 19 different kinds

• chosen of the opportune dosages in relationship to the kind of situation

• application

• inspection on the site in order to follow the development of the vegetation

Before executing the job the level of grassy covering the terrain is single out in the first and in the following years. Such indication is guarantee and, in case of not reaching the foreseen targets, the appropriate re-seeding and/or dunging will be executed.

In PIERREVERT’s system the mixture of the products consists in:
· seeds mixture suitably studied
· mineral-organic fertilizers
· biodegradable adhesive for hydro seeding

 
   PIERREVERT   ARMED MULCH

PIERREVERT ARMED MULCH proceeding is an ideal system to grass particularly inclined hillsides with high superficial erosion risk, with critical climate and substrate conditions; it allows the achievement of an artificial cover similar to the straw-bitumen system, but with lower costs and no pollution risks for the environment.
 

PROCEEDING STAGES


The preliminary phases of the proceeding are similar to PIERREVERT’s system, while the substantial differences consist in greater dosages , in application’s method and in the addition to the mixture of mulch’s vegetable fibres.

The products mixture consists in:
· seeds mixture suitably studied
· mineral-organic fertilizers
· biodegradable adhesive for hydro seeding
· vegetal fibres mulch

The complete proceeding is applied by two wipes.
In the first wipe a mixture of seeds, fertilizers and adhesives is spread by about 2/3 of the total.
In the second wipe a mixture of seeds, fertilizers and adhesives is applied on the third part, adding vegetable fibres mulch, so that it will cover seeds that will be more protected to support the germination.
